There isn’t much debate that 22 year-old British singer/songwriter, Jorja Smith, is the next R&B superstar not only in her native England, but the entire globe. Her starlight has been visible around the world during her world tours or in the studio where she has worked with the likes of @brunomars, @kendricklamar, @champagnepapi, @_stormzyofficial, @mavericksabre, @ezracollective, @loylecarner, @kaliuchis & many more incredible artists. ⠀

As an artist that we’ve been listening to for the last few years, Jorja has been quite patient in releasing her music. With only a single full length project under her belt thus far, “Lost & Found,” & a handful of features & singles, we are eagerly anticipating the sophomore effort from the British queen (hopefully this year). However, this hasn’t slowed her visibility & overall ascension to superstardom. After releasing “Lost & Found” she garnered a 2018 Grammy nomination for “Best New Artist” along with a few BRIT Award nominations. She even added a feature to the critically-acclaimed movie soundtrack to “Black Panther,” which Kendrick Lamar executive produced. ⠀

For this episode we included a few originals from Jorja along with a few impressive features she’s had over the years. Regardless, though, if the track is hers or a fellow artists’, she brings her A+ game.
